AUBURN, Ala.- The Auburn Public Library invites the community to celebrate the epic Star Wars universe at its Star Wars Imperial Gala on Thursday, May 1, from 5:30 to 7 p.m.

This family-friendly event is free and open to the public and is sure to be a fun-filled evening for fans of all ages. The Star Wars Imperial Gala will feature a variety of activities including music, crafts, snacks and a costume contest where participants can show off their best Star Wars-inspired looks.

Whether you're a fan of the Galactic Empire, the Rebel Alliance or any of the iconic characters from a galaxy far, far away, this event is the perfect opportunity to celebrate your Star Wars fandom in style. The costume contest will feature several categories, and attendees of all ages are encouraged to dress up as their favorite characters.

In addition to the fun activities, guests will enjoy a selection of themed snacks and refreshments to fuel their evening of intergalactic fun.
